The Purpose Company is a faith-based dance company located in the heart of Johnson City, NY. At The Purpose Company, we believe that dance is a God-given gift that should be used to glorify Him. Dance is not just a form of art, but method of communication.

What are the performance opportunities?
Our 2 main performances for the 2024-2025 season will be our Christmas Showcase, Saturday Dec. 14th, and our end of year showcase (date, theme, and location TBD) .

Do I have to be a Christian to dance at TPC?
No! We have a place for everyone- christian or not!

We are set apart from the rest of the dance world in the way that our heart is to offer wholesome dancing. Our training styles, music choices, costume decisions, and creative approach all reflect this.

How do I choose the right package?
We offer many different package types to accommodate different budgets and schedules. Classes are run in two different levels (I & II). Levels are determined by a variety of factors and are designed to best suit each child. Level decisions are made by company teachers. We recommend the unlimited packages for either level to give your dancer the most training and opportunity.
About The Founder
Meet, Allyson Kitchner, the founder of The Purpose Company (also known as Miss Ally). Ally grew up in the competitive dance world, as well as has many years of experience teaching both competitive and recreational dance. After giving her life to Jesus, God revealed the true purpose of dance to her. Ally remained teaching at a competitive studio, following God's lead in spreading His love there. During this time, He was making a way for her dream to come forth. Back in 2022, God dropped the name, "The Purpose Company", in her heart. Fast forward to this year, God spoke that He would "fulfill her whole purpose", leading to her God dream coming to fruition. God has used dance as a ministry for Ally, not only through teaching others, but also opening doors for her to dance as well. Her heart is to raise up Kingdom dancers, teaching them that they are dancing on purpose, for a purpose, for such a time as this. She is so excited for this new journery with God, knowing that it will bear good fruit for the Kingdom of God.
